The Story Behind Our Unique Handmade Wall Art Creations
Share
Swiss sculptor and painter Alberto Giacometti once said, “The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.” His words could not be any truer. In an ever-changing world that’s seeking a semblance of reality within fiction, wall arts are a breath of fresh air.
Transforming living spaces and adding character, colour and style, wall arts add a personal touch to your interiors. From bold paintings and abstract pieces to minimalist prints and intricate tapestries, wall arts serve as a beautiful and tangible form of expression.
Along with enhancing the visual appeal, they evoke emotions and inspire creativity. Irrespective of whether it's at home, office or in a public setting, wall arts leave an impact and turn empty spaces into captivating narratives.
At April Moon, we put a lot of heart and soul into each of our wall illustrations. Each step of designing and bringing the designs to life requires a lot of thought because we want our work to be something you cherish forever. We aim to create art that speaks to you and adds to your overall aesthetic appeal.
Whether you choose to buy it for yourself or a loved one, we hope for it to bring meaning in your life. But how do we create that perfect piece? What goes on behind the scenes? Let’s find out.
Ideation

Once we have the illustration finalised we set off to print the finished artwork. Having the knowledge and background of a digital illustrator and the resolve to provide unmatched quality to our customers, we are quite particular about getting digital prints done with state-of-the-art machinery and high-quality canvas.
This is one of the primary reasons our prints have really good colour precision and shelf life.
Hand Embroidery
Our wall art is a thing of beauty and joy. We take great pride in the intricate hand embroidery details we incorporate into our artwork. It is one of the reasons we choose to print on canvas instead of paper because it allows us to marry our digital art with our love for hand embroidery. The intricate details add depth to the art and make it truly unique.
Framing
The final step is framing. Our wall arts come in different styles, such as framed art, tapestries, scrolls and hoop art. Once our canvas is ready, we choose to either have it framed in our signature hand-carved mango wood, get it stitched into beautiful tapestries, frame it in lovely round embroidery hoops, or turn it into gorgeous scrolls with hand-carved mango wood bars.
This entire process may seem effortless enough when broken down and listed into steps but, the true beauty of it lies in how many hands and hearts it involves.
Right from ideation to framing, every piece of original illustration goes through the handiwork of at least six people who work tirelessly to ensure we deliver a piece that you will cherish always.
At April Moon, our goal has always been to create art that brings people joy and positivity. And all of our authentic, original artworks are created with the intent that someone would find true meaning in them.
